A multimedia software laboratory.

campanile Labs is a one-person experimental software lab based in California. I take open-source libraries and put them to work building feature-rich tools for images, 3D graphics, audio, and video.

AI and large language models changed what one developer can ship. I use them to move fast — wiring libraries together, filling in reference, and doing the work that would normally take a team — then layer my own code, interface design, and artistic detail on top. Every app in the campanile Labs Apps section was built this way.

Education was the longest and hardest part of the journey, and earning a Bachelor's in Computer Science from San Diego State University was worth it. When I went looking for a name to publish my work under, nothing fit until campanile Labs — a nod to my alma mater's bell tower, and a name that simply sounds right.
